Our neighborhood held a potato festival( for those of you not living in Idaho, potatoes are important around here) with games and of course potato dishes. Everyone was invited, and encouraged to bring a potluck potato dish. The weather was beautiful and our family had a great time. What a great way to celebrate the start of fall(again, for those of you not in Idaho, potato harvest begins in October)!
There was a contest for the best potato dish. I brought potato fudge and won first place.......... this was my award. Yes, that is a real potato painted gold mounted on a watch box!

There was potato sack races for adults and children, I'll let you decide who's who......................

That's me in the green shirt.

Getting ready to go, Corrine looked adorable in her hat, which got many compliments.

Ava took to this better than I thought she would, she loved it!

Payden and Michaela also enjoyed the potato sack race.

Some of these are sideways, I will edit better next time! I also hope to figure out how to put the pictures on in the order I want them. What a learning experience!

you can click and drag the pictures around to the spot that you want them.
Every time I try to email you it gets returned :(
OK....I am totally starting my diet!
I know what you mean Cami, I hate seeing myself in pictures right now!
I like the picture where I'm pushing everyone back before our sack race... Then in the next picture I'm bringing up the rear of the race!
Hey Gina! Ilove your blog. That looks like so much fun. I didn't remember about it, and was confused on the day/time....okay, I was just grumpy and didn't want to socialize, BUT I am glad it was such a success! Keep with the blogging thing, it is so fun and rewarding, and I really think it helps you remember some of the cute things the kids say each day!
Wow, I am so excited that people are leaving comments-- I love it! I am really just too hyped over this blog thing, I am spending way too much time on it! (who needs clean laundry anyway?)
